‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 5: Ashley Tisdale says…

Even though “Sons of Anarchy” may be best remembered by many for the sad way in which we had to say goodbye to Opie during Tuesday night’s new episode, and Gemma and Tara completely and totally laying the smackdown on Dora. Even though Ashley Tisdale’s character of Emma Jean was not a contributor in either of these scenes, she did have some memorable moments throughout the episode with such people as Jax and Gemma, who she had a pretty intense scene with of her own.

So what was the preparation like for making such a crazy moment on the show? Speaking in an interview with Collider, the former “High School Musical” star says that she really was just sent in to battle without really doing a lot of intense research or training in technique:

“[They] pretty much just threw us in there.  We had a set choreographer, and they went over exactly what we were going to do.  I have done that, in the past, so it wasn’t too scary, but I was really freaked out.  I was like, ‘Oh, my God, is [Katey Sagal] really going to hit me?’  But, no, she’s the nicest person in the entire world, so it was just really funny.  We had a great time doing it.”

Even though Tisdale’s character was seemingly taken to the airport by Nero in the episode, she is still interested in coming back to the show depending on what the writers are planning to do next. At the moment, we have a feeling that they are probably pretty focused in not just on Jax and Nero’s new venture, but what they are going to do with Damon Pope.

Did you enjoy seeing Ashley stretch herself beyond what people know of her?
