NCIS: New Orleans season 5 episode 14: Meet Hannah’s old partner

When NCIS: New Orleans season 5 episode 14 airs on CBS come Tuesday night, you’ll get a chance to see Hannah’s former partner for the first time! He is someone named Liam and over the course of this upcoming episode, you’re going to get a good chance to learn more about who he is and also some of his struggles.

So what are we learning here about Liam? Well, for starters he’s got a rocky past, including some struggles with sobriety. One of their biggest cases from their past is now coming back to light, and it could end up putting the two of them in a tough spot. As it turns out, their bosses covered up some casualties from this old case and then kept the information from them. Hannah’s intel on the case didn’t end up being altogether accurate and because of that, innocent people died.

You can see just from this preview alone that Liam has struggled with this case ever since — Hannah is clearly handling what happened a little bit better than Liam is. It’s either that or she just so happens to be a little bit better at compartmentalizing. She recognizes that she did just about everything that she could.

So what happens from here, with this information in mind? We do think that Liam is looking for an opportunity to make things right, and maybe he does think that Hannah is going to be able to help with that. We don’t necessarily think, though, that this is the easiest thing in the world for her to do, though, mostly because she’s going to have quite a bit of her plate already due to the responsibilities of her team. Hannah’s also been through a lot as of late with her family.

For those of you who’ve been eager to learn a little bit more about Necar Zadegan and her character, these upcoming episodes of NCIS: New Orleans are going to provide that very opportunity. You’re going to have a chance to understand more of where she comes from, and that should offer up more insight into why she acts the way she does now.
