Charmed episode 13 return date: ‘Manic Pixie Nightmare’
The bad news, obviously, is that there is no new episode airing on the network in one week’s time … not that this should be all that much of a surprise to anyone. Given that this is a new series, The CW doesn’t want to force it up against the Oscars next week! They want to give it at least some sort of chance to succeed, so the next new episode is going to air instead on Sunday, March 3. This will be the first of presumably many episodes that are going to air throughout the months of March, April, and May. There are still ten episodes to go, so hopefully getting a generous dose of new episodes is going to help to make up for the rather-frustrating schedule that many viewers have been forced to deal with for a while.
Now, we’re assuming that there are some people out there who want some more insight when it comes to the story. Below, CarterMatt has the official Charmed episode 13 synopsis with a little bit more news as to what’s coming up next:
A BALL OF LIGHT – With life seemingly back to normal, Parker (Nick Hargrove) tips off Maggie (Sarah Jeffery) to a mysterious death on campus that might be of demonic nature. After the sisters consult with Harry (Rupert Evans), they try to trap the creature, but they soon realize that not everyone can avoid its powers. Meanwhile, Galvin (Ser’Darius Blain) remembers something from his grandma’s stories that could help Macy (Madeleine Mantock) overcome her dark side. Melanie Mayron directed the episode written by Jessica O’Toole & Amy Rardin (#113). Original airdate 3/3/2019.
As this episode goes along, we’re hoping for a few different surprises; if nothing else, it does seem like you’ve got a pretty notable enemy and a good showdown looming. One of the best things that a series like Charmed can do is come up with some cool creatures for most of the main cast to do battle with. The more that this series can pull this off, the better off we’re going to as we get to the finale later this spring. There is already a season 2 renewal on tap, so you don’t have to worry as much about that.
