Just in case you were wondering, there is no new episode airing on CBS come February 24. what’s the biggest reason for that? Think in terms of the Academy Awards. The award show’s presence is something that most major networks want to avoid, and that’s why you won’t see the series back on the air until Sunday, March 3. The good news is that when you get to this point, you’ll likely see fewer interruptions between here and when the series does eventually close off its 20-episode first season in April.
Below, CarterMatt has the official God Friended Me episode 15 synopsis with some additional insight as to what’s coming up next:
“Two Guys, a Girl, and a Thai Food Place” – Miles and Cara help a young woman who fell into a coma after disappearing the night before her wedding and wakes with no memory of that evening. Also, Rakesh comes face-to-face with Simon Hayes (Adam Goldberg), the tech CEO who may be involved with the God Account, and Arthur’s mentorship of Rev. Carver (Gaius Charles) gets off to a rocky start, on GOD FRIENDED ME, Sunday, March 3 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
The main order of business within this episode is probably going to be allowing us a chance to get to know Simon Hayes a little bit better. This is someone who may have some very important links to the God Account — if it’s not him running it behind the scenes, then maybe he will have a little more information as to who is.
As recently reported, this episode is also going to feature an appearance from The Vampire Diaries alum Zach Roerig — while there is no definitive evidence as to who this actor is going to be playing as of yet, the easy assumption to make is that, in one form or another, he will be linked to the friend suggestion that you have a chance to see this week.
We know that waiting for the next two weeks is less than ideal, but based on the information that we’ve got now, we’re confident that it will prove to be very much worthwhile.
