Within this article, we’re going to do our best to try to figure that out. What’s the best time in order to start the show back up?
We do think, first and foremost, that coming up with the perfect premiere date for a show is a little bit more challenging than it appears on the surface. After all, there are so many different factors that you have to weigh and things to consider! For starters, think in terms of competition. If you’re Animal Kingdom, you don’t want to wait too long into the summer for the wait to get tiresome; this show is known as a staple of the season and because you’ve already put out a preview, the demand is going to be there — why keep your public waiting?
With that being said, you also don’t want to start the season off too early — if you premiere it during May sweeps, for example, it may get lost. That’s why the series has done things right the past couple of years, effectively premiering the show the Tuesday after Memorial Day. Most major network TV shows are off the air at this point; meanwhile, there are a number of viewers eager to check something out on the other side of the long break.
This is why the perfect Animal Kingdom season 4 premiere date is Tuesday, May 28. We obviously think that there could be a temptation to premiere it earlier than that, but we hope that TNT resists that temptation since this is the perfect spot for the show. It can flourish here every bit as it has in the past. One of the most underrated things about this show is its consistency. The live ratings for season 3 were actually up versus season 2; when you think about the mass exodus that is happening away from live television viewing at the moment, this does make this feat all the more impressive. It’s going to be hard for the show to keep up this feat forever, but we certainly would like to see them try.
