Good Trouble episode 7 preview: The story of ‘Swipe Right’
Let’s face it — we do think that Callie and Mariana are going to be the two different engines of Good Trouble, and they are the ones who are effectively going to steer the ship. Yet, at the same exact time we’re going to have some opportunities to see some of the show’s other characters in the spotlight here and there. You get some of that in the promo below with Malika. It’s basically the show’s version of Love and Basketball, though we’re not sure how many of the average viewer on this show
Below, CarterMatt has the official Good Trouble episode 7 synopsis with some more news as to what is coming up next:
Callie plans to disclose her connection to Malika to Judge Wilson before Ben has the opportunity to undermine her and, in the process, learns she might not be the only one with a conflict of interest on her team. Meanwhile, Gael consults Callie for legal help for his sister Jazmin.
The more that this story progresses, the more likely we’re going to see Callie’s job potentially go up in flames. We do know that she’s very much good at it; however, at the same exact time her association with Malika could cause some problems. Rules are often rules when it comes to the courtroom; while Callie has a tendency to break some rules and we love her for it, at the same time, it can be problematic. We can’t just root for the ruler-breaker because they are someone we liked; if we did, then we’d have to be more sympathetic to rule-breakers we don’t like. It’s a complicated spot for Callie to be in and you have to hope that there could be some resolution to this story before too long. The longer this goes, the more troublesome it could be for Callie’s career.
