02/19/2019 (10:01PM – 11:00PM) (Tuesday) : Sharpe (Freema Agyeman) struggles when a case hits too close to home and Iggy (Tyler Labine) uncovers a patient’s surprising past. Meanwhile, Floyd (Jocko Sims) makes progress in his personal life after some difficult news. Also starring Ryan Eggold as Dr. Max Goodwin, Janet Montgomery as Dr. Lauren Bloom and Anupam Kher as Dr. Vijay Kapoor. Guest starring Ron Rifkin as Dean Fulton, Alejandro Hernandez as Casey, Sendhil Ramamurthy as Dr. Akash Panthaki, Ethan Hova as Mustafa Al-Batat, Margot Bingham as Evie Garrison and Nana Mensah as Dr. Candelario. TV-14

Through this story, we’re hoping that we are going to have a chance to know Dr. Sharpe a little bit more beyond what we see from her in the hospital. We know that it is difficult at times to cram in a lot of personal insight amidst everything else that is going on, but for a show like this, we absolutely do think that it is important.

As for some of the other stories, it should prove fruitful to see some progress in Floyd’s personal life. This is the sort of thing that could heavily influence him as a doctor, mostly because it is offering you up a little more of an opportunity to see what makes him tick. That’s critical to seeing how his abilities as a doctor fluctuate, in relation to what is going on within his private life. There is a correlation there, and it is something that could be involved in this episode on some level.

For those wondering, we’re sure that there is a role for Max Goodwin in this episode, even if it is not directly specific on the surface.
