SWAT season 2 episode 15 preview: A community conflict
In just about almost major city out there, the relationship between the police and the community lives on a knife’s edge. One wrong move can set things off; while the police are there to protect and serve, the actions of a few can impact the many. Some of our SWAT characters are inevitably going to struggle for many reasons, as some people in Los Angeles start to turn on them. Everything in this episode will start with the death of a patrol officer, and over time, it’s going to become about something more … something crazy. This could be a shocking episode with huge ramifications for the future unless some of these characters are able to figure some things out for themselves. It’s not going to be easy for them, but we’ve got faith in their ability to figure things out.
Below, CarterMatt offers up the official SWAT season 2 episode 15 synopsis with some more information as to what’s coming:
“Fallen” – The SWAT team pursues a group of unknown assailants responsible for a patrol officer’s death before tension in the city between the police and the community explodes. Also, as Chris reels from the revelation that she knew the patrol officer who was killed, Deacon and his wife, Annie (Bre Blair), prepare to welcome their newest child, on S.W.A.T., Thursday, Feb. 14 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
The longer that this story goes, the more challenging the main case could be for some of these characters.
As for the lighter side of things, we’re hoping for something great for Deacon and Annie. They’re expanding their family and that is a beautiful thing. These little moments help to ensure that SWAT keeps its humanity, after all — in the midst of the large-scale issues and some of what these characters go through every week, it’s fairly easy to forget about the fact that they are still people and they go through some of the same stuff as anyone else. They just face a little bit more danger on the job than the majority of people out there.
