Siren season 2 episode 4 preview: Where will Ryn hide the mermaids?

Siren - Freeform

Do you want to know when it comes to Siren season 2 episode 4? This episode is going to serve as another test for Ryn. We’ve seen her do her best in order to help acclimate the mermaids to life on land, but there are still some other challenges that she faces — that includes hiding them and keeping them safe on a broader scale. That’s not going to be the easiest thing in the world to do, especially when you think about some of what they are up against. This is a show where the threats never become smaller; the challenges are more vast, and there’s only so much a limited number of characters can do.

Below, CarterMatt offers the official Siren season 2 episode 4 synopsis with some further information as to what lies ahead:

Ryn decides they need to find another solution for housing the mermaids, as hiding them becomes increasingly difficult. Ben becomes a mentor to Levi as he tries to learn how men behave on land, while Maddie continues to struggle with her mother’s renewed presence in her life.

Obviously, the Ryn storyline is going to be one of the ones promoted the heaviest, and it makes a certain degree of sense for the writers to do just that. After all, they want to do whatever they can in order to ensure that the mermaid story remains at the center of everything.

Yet, there’s also some fun that is going to continue to come from seeing this manifested in some other ways. That includes getting to see Ben take on more of a mentorship position — it’s really a nice sign of precisely how far these characters have come over the years. Beyond just that, it’s a chance to see how much more room for growth there is still out there. We do still have a long way to go this season, but at least the past few weeks have set a fairly exciting precedent where there are a lot of new characters, but also a show that does still feel familiar. You want the good performances, and also some of the underlying intensity and darkness that makes this show totally different from just about all of them out there. This is going to be the thing that keeps Siren on the air longer far longer than just the current second season it is in now.
