Legacies episode 10 sneak peek: Hope, Alaric, and a genie
Why is that? Well, Lizzie has access to who appears to be a genie and we’re about 99% sure that this is the worst thing ever. Teenagers are so used to wanting instant gratification for all of their needs — what holds them back from that is the real world. Giving Lizzie someone who could make some of her dreams into a reality is probably not the best move since she could cause all sorts of chaos with that. We don’t have to tell you that “with great power comes great responsibility” line for you to be thinking about it on some level.
So what are we going to be seeing Lizzie actually do with this said genie? Well, the fear is that she could use it in order to do something to Hope, and we have to say that the sneak peek below for tomorrow’s episode does not really do much to calm us down. After all, you see the genie turn up in the midst of a conversation between Hope and Alaric and neither one of them appear to be wise to her presence there. That bodes a pretty interesting question: How are the two of them going to be able to stop a genie if they do not know said genie is there? This is going to cause a problem and one that may take Lizzie to stop.
We don’t have any problem drawing a comparison between this episode and some sort of morality play, one with a clear message of “be careful what you wish for.” Lizzie may have put herself into a corner in this episode and she has to work herself out of it. Or, that is at least what we are hoping happens here since we do want to see her find a way to emerge from the other side of this having learned something. Her attitude at times makes the show entertaining, but it can also be problematic. Consider this a learning experience, though you probably wish that it was the sort of learning experience in which she could have picked up on a few things a little bit faster.
