‘Private Practice’ season 2, episode 2 preview: Finding out [spoiler]
There are some tough times ahead on Tuesday night’s new episode of “Private Practice,” and we have a feeling that they could be tying in to another one of Shonda Rhimes’ most-popular shows.
So what may be coming up as early as tomorrow? Based on the preview below, Addison is going to be receiving a phone call that will change her life forever. As for what it is, it’s pretty easy to take one guess: someone must be calling to clue her in on Mark’s death. Anyone who has followed both this show and “Grey’s Anatomy” already knows that the two had quite a complicated relationship, and Rhimes even admitted that there was a part of her that wanted to have Mark take off to California later on in the season to be with her rather than killing him off. However, she decided against it under the belief that it would be better off for the series as a whole if she continued Addison’s story on the path that she was already going down with her choosing Jake in the season premiere.
When you consider that there are only 12 episodes left this season, and that the show itself may actually end following Kate Walsh’s departure, it’s pretty much a given that the story is going to have to go 100 miles an hour the rest of the way. The exciting thing about this is that it is giving the writers an opportunity to not only work with a greater amount of intensity, but also potentially try out some things that they may have been hesitant to otherwise do.
Do you think the phone call Addison will be getting soon pertains to Mark’s death? Be sure to share your thoughts below, and we will also have more on this very subject following the new episode Tuesday.
