Victoria season 3 episode 5 preview: Assassination attempt aftermath

Are you excited to see Victoria season 3 episode 5 on PBS in one week’s time? Well, a part of this installment will be about recovery. We are going to see how in the world the title character recovers from a particularly-harrowing situation, and if that’s something that is possible in the particularly-near future. This is going to be an emotional episode at times. Yet, it won’t always be that way. This could be one of the more romantic installments that we have a chance to see this season, one that allows us an opportunity to see the story build and develop at a spot that is far from the typical palace. We’re going to like some of the escapism here, but then also a lot of the different stories that you are going to see.

Below, CarterMatt offered up the official Victoria season 3 episode 5 synopsis with some other news as to what’s coming up:

After an assassination attempt, the Royal household visit Ireland. Intrigue, conflict and romance all blossom during a stay at the Palmerston estate.

The good news for this episode is that it’s going to have an opportunity to air without any NFL football around. Shouldn’t that help the ratings slightly for PBS? Well, in theory, sure. However, what we’re probably going to see here is Victoria airing opposite the Grammys and we’re not sure that this is any better insofar as competition goes. We do want to see the show continue to perform well, but the good news with a show like Victoria is that it’s not wholly dependent on the ratings in America. It’s more about how it does globally, and we’re totally shocked still that this show is airing in America prior to Great Britain. There are plenty of ITV viewers that are certainly confused about that.

Ultimately, this episode may have some elements to it that feel like a throwback to earlier seasons, ones that really did have a lot of romance to them while showing off a wide array of different places within the United Kingdom and so much more.
