Legacies episode 11 spoilers: The school talent show
For starters, we do always want to give this show a nice round of applause for finding a way to combine standard high-school traditions with also some of the stuff that teenagers tend to go through on a near-regular basis. That includes seeing some of the young characters deal with personal tensions, feelings, and also problems.
For this upcoming episode, the Salvatore School talent show is going to be at the center of just about everything. We’ll see, at least at first glance, Lizzie and Josie doing what they can to make sure that the show happens … even after Alaric originally determined that the show doesn’t need to move forward. It’s understandable why he would want to ensure that all of the students are safe before really dealing with anything else.

THE SALVATORE SCHOOL’S ANNUAL TALENT SHOW — When Alaric (Matthew Davis) decides to postpone the school’s annual talent show, Lizzie (Jenny Boyd) and Josie (Kaylee Bryant) are determined to make sure the show goes on. Meanwhile, tensions arise when the students face a creature that lowers their inhibitions. Lastly, Alaric decides to play hooky with Emma (guest star Karen David). Danielle Rose Russell, Aria Shahghasemi, Quincy Fouse and Peyton Alex Smith also star. Barbara Brown directed the episode written by Thomas Brandon & Penny Cox (#109). Original airdate 2/21/2019.
When you look at what the monster-of-the-week case is going to be moving into this episode, it really shouldn’t come as a surprise that this one is going to affect the students. Isn’t that obvious when you talk about them having lower inhibitions?
As for Alaric and Emma, why not just let the two have a little bit of fun? When you think about everything that the two parties deal with weekly, they deserve to have a little bit of fun … even if said fun is probably going to be interrupted at some point by monsters or other problems at the school. We feel like Alaric’s the sort of guy who is really going to have a few minutes to breathe every episode, let alone play “hooky” with the school counselor.
