Blue Bloods season 9 episode 14 preview: A Donnie Wahlberg – Will Estes showcase
So what is going to cause Danny and Jamie Reagan to be at odds coming up? Well, it seems to stem from an issue on the job — we imagine that this is going to be a problem that they can work out, but it’s not going to be easy. It also does have some far-reaching implications. Just remember that so much of Jamie’s success on the job is really predicated by having the respect of those around him. If he cannot really get the full respect of even his own brother, that does set a difficult precedent for everyone else who works under him. Hopefully, Danny soon recognizes this and the two are eventually able to come to a solution that best works for the two of them.

In general, all signs point towards this episode of Blue Bloods being one of the best one of the season from a personal perspective. It’s a chance to explore the lives of several characters away from the job, and also to see him help some people close to them in some rather unexpected ways. For Erin, she gets to potentially help both Nicky and Nicky’s friend at the same exact time.
