Riverdale season 3 episode 12 preview: Veronica, Reggie fix a situation

Curious about what’s coming on Riverdale season 3 episode 12 next week? You’re getting an installment entitled “Bizarrodale” and based on the scoop we’re getting, this one is certainly going to be all sorts of bizarre — fitting, really. You’ll see some wedding preparation, some possible blackmail, Veronica and Reggie doing cleanup duty, and some important relationship updates. You’re also going to see Cheryl looking towards the future, which is at least nodding to one of the undeniable truths about this show — at some point, these characters are going to graduate and move forward with the next phase of their lives. How do you do the show at that point? It’s tricky, but it’s equally tricky if you decide that you want to keep Archie and the rest of the gang in high school for another three or four years.

There’s a lot to look forward to in this upcoming episode, and we really think that the Riverdale season 3 episode 12 synopsis below is just scratching the surface for much of it:

THE NEXT LEVEL – Amidst preparations for their upcoming wedding, Sierra (guest star Robin Givens) and Tom (guest star Martin Cummins) receive an unsettling message, which forces “The Midnight Club” to reunite. Meanwhile, Veronica (Camila Mendes) and Reggie (Charles Melton) take drastic measures to clean up a mess they created. Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) learns some unexpected news about the college she has set her sights on. Lastly, Kevin (Casey Cott) gives Moose (guest star Cody Kearsley) an ultimatum. KJ Apa, Lili Reinhart, Cole Sprouse, Marisol Nichols, Madchen Amick, Luke Perry, Ashleigh Murray, Mark Consuelos, Skeet Ulrich and Vanessa Morgan also star. Harry Jierjian directed the episode written by Britta Lundin (#312). Original airdate 2/6/2019.

This episode should prove itself to be a fun one by virtue of all of the content that it’s packing in, but we also gotta say that it’s rather interesting that there is no mention of either Archie or Betty directly in it. Even though these two are technically two of the primary characters, the network is keeping the cards close to the vest — and the same thing even goes for Jughead, given that this character is barely acknowledged other than Sprouse’s name at the end. We can be assured that somehow, everyone will be involved — we just hope that it’s in a way that brings a lot of these characters closer together. One of the prevailing critiques that we’ve had for this season is that there are a lot of characters who have a spent a great deal of their time apart.
