The Flash season 5 episode 12 video: Will Nora’s secret come out?

At the end of this past episode, Team Flash came up with a unique plan to stop Cicada, one that didn’t actually require them to fight him in the streets — much of his rage was fueled by what happened to his adoptive daughter Grace, so why not find a way to bring Grace out of her coma? If they could cure her, the thinking is that this would calm his anger and make Central City a safer place.
Of course, finding a way to actually cure Grace isn’t easy, especially since it may involve actually entering her consciousness and finding a way to wake her up — it’s almost akin to the show entering a dream-world, and there are similarities to what happened in order to wake up Ralph on the show last season. Sherloque tells Team Flash in the sneak peek below (via TVLine) that the optimal way to heal Grace is for a team to travel into her mind as a pair to find a way to help wake her up.
So who should travel into Grace’s mind using Sherloque’s mind-traveling contraption? It makes perfect sense for it to be Barry and Nora given their abilities — but here’s where the twist comes into play. In doing this mission together, it’s possible that Barry and his daughter may view each other’s memories at the same time. That’s problematic for many reasons, most notably that Nora has been holding back when it comes to her relationship with Eobard Thawne. If Barry uncovers that, it could cause an enormous rift in their relationship — especially since Nora has not thrown her relationship with Thawne to the wayside, even if she’s now aware of what happened between the Reverse-Flash and Barry’s own mother.
Side note: We know that Nora’s naive, but the fact that she’s still trusting Thawne on any level is one of the biggest flaws in this season so far.
