So how will she come back — or at least her story come back? CarterMatt has the official The Resident season 2 episode 13 synopsis for you below with some more information:
Conrad, Kit, Mina and the Raptor work to save the life of a med student in need of a triple-organ transplant, drawing Bell back to the OR for one of the Chastain’s riskiest surgeries yet. After the police find Julian’s empty car in a nearby lake, Devon does some investigating of his own to find out what might have happened. Meanwhile, Mina and the Raptor hound Bell to halt his business with the risky medical device company, Quovadis, and Nic makes a rash decision regarding her sister in the all-new “Virtually Impossible” episode of THE RESIDENT airing Monday, Feb. 4 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (RES-213) (TV-14 L,V)
The obvious implication that comes with Julian’s car being found empty is simply this: It means she could still be alive. Is it possible that she escaped and is now in the wind? Of course, an alternate possibility here is that she was tracked down and killed somewhere else, or that her body was pulled from the lake a while ago to keep her from being found. There’s some pretty morbid stuff that the show could choose to do here and we are excited to see which direction the show is going to go in with this story.
As for what else you’re going to see, Quovadis is clearly going to have an enormous role to play in the story given that we will see the Raptor and Mina do just about everything that they can in order to stop the company. They’ve been working with these medical devices in surgery so clearly, they would have a better understanding of how they are working than just about anyone else. We would love to see the Quovadis story end at some point in the near future, mostly because we don’t know how much momentum you can continue to milk from this – it’s time to move forward and break new ground.
