Gotham season 5 episode 6 spoilers: Lee Thompkins returns!

Gotham - Lee Thompkins

Where is Lee Thompkins on Gotham season 5? If you’ve been asking this question as of late, rest assured that you’re not alone — her whereabouts has remained a hot topic for a good while now and we’re rather thrilled to be seeing the show finally touch on this come Thursday, February 14. While it is true that this episode (entitled “13 Stitches”) is airing on Valentine’s Day, we’ve got a sneaking suspicion that it is not the most romantic episode in the world. As a matter of fact, it’s probably going to be the opposite of that.

Below, CarterMatt has the official Gotham season 5 episode 6 synopsis for you with some more information as to what’s coming:

Gordon assembles an unlikely team to protect Gotham from Eduardo Dorrance (guest star Shane West) and his Delta Force. Just as Lee Thompkins resurfaces, Barbara reveals shocking news that will change Gordon’s life forever. Meanwhile, Selina and Penguin team up to outsmart fellow villain Magpie (guest star Sarah Schenkkan) in the all-new “13 Stitches” episode of GOTHAM airing Thursday, Feb. 14 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (GTH-506) (TV-14 L,V)

Clearly, this episode is going to show that Eduardo Dorrance is not what he originally presented himself to be as he arrived to the city promising some sort of relief. Meanwhile, we certainly do wonder if Barbara could be bringing us closer to the arrival of Barbara Gordon within this world — the two did kiss at the end of this past episode, so we’re not putting it out of the realm of possibility that the two end up sleeping together and she gets pregnant. We’re not sure that this is the best move for Jim, given the history of chaos that Barbara has, but it’s his life.

With the arrival of Magpie, the Gotham writers are also doing their part in order to include as many more villains from the Batman world as possible that we haven’t seen already. In the comics, this character has a fascination for shiny objects, and eventually uses a variety of antiques and her own creations as weapons. She’s a formidable foe, but given that we haven’t seen much of her until the final season of Gotham, it’s fair to say that she’s not going to be all that much of a big bad here. She’s more just someone present to further represent the rich roster of adversaries that the series has developed overall.
