Below, CarterMatt offers up the official Criminal Minds season 14 finale synopsis below:
“Truth or Dare” – Wedding bells are ringing as Rossi prepares to marry Krystall (Gail O’Grady). But first, the BAU team travels to Los Angeles to investigate a series of fatal shootings in broad daylight following car accidents, on the 14th season finale of CRIMINAL MINDS, Wednesday, Feb. 6 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
From the standpoint of guest stars, you’re going to get a number of good ones over the course of this hour. Not only is there going to be an opportunity to see Krystall in this episode, but Rossi’s daughter Joy is also going to be turning up in some shape or form. Meanwhile, Simmons’ wife Kristy is also going to be stopping by — given that this if Rossi’s wedding, we’re glad that it will feel like some sort of proper celebration with a lot of super-notable names stopping by in some capacity.
Of course, to go along with this we are still hoping that there will be a chance in order to see an exciting case. Because this is Criminal Minds, we’ve come to know over the years that they are always going to try and find a way to balance out some of the personal stuff with some sort of hyper-intense case that pushes the BAU to its limit. We also do like cases that are set in Los Angeles, mostly because it’s one of those rare opportunities where production doesn’t have to find locations to double as somewhere else — they can actually just put Los Angeles on television without any frills or having to mask it in some shape or form.
Will there be some sort of cliffhanger? It’s possible, and we’ll even be okay with it given the fact that there has been a renewal already for the fifteenth and final season.
