Last Man Standing season 7 episodes 13, 14 to be one-hour event

Last Man Standing

When Last Man Standing season 7 episode 13 airs on Fox come February 15, the show is going to be doing something a little different. Rather than just give you a half-hour of new content, they are going to bring you a special one-hour event! What that means is that you’re going to have an opportunity to enjoy something a little bit more substantial, and also something that may be especially notable based on it airing around the Valentine’s Day holiday.

Below, CarterMatt offered up the official Last Man Standing season 7 episode 13 synopsis with some more news as to what’s coming up:

When Chuck and Carol decide to renew their vows, Mike plans to take his officiating to the next level. Then, with Chuck away on his honeymoon, Ed takes over Outdoor Man security duties with a new approach. Meanwhile, Mandy and Kyle combine their finances and things go less than smoothly in the all-new, special one-hour “The Best Man/Sibling Quibbling” episode of LAST MAN STANDING airing Friday, Feb. 15 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (LMS-714/715) (TV-PG D, L)

For those wondering about the 714 / 715 at the end of the press release, that refers to the production code for these episodes. That just means that these episodes were filmed a little bit later in the season’s run as opposed to when they are airing. Our assumption right now is that this will constitute two of the 22 episodes for the season, but we’ll keep you posted on that if the plans change. Sometimes, they can, even this late into the show’s run. (For now, let’s just rejoice in the fact that we’re getting 22 episodes of the series in the first place.)

As for what we’re the most excited to see when it comes to the story, it’s just going to be fun to see Chuck and Carol in this capacity. It gives Mike a chance to flex his officiating muscles, and it seems like by the end of the hour, Mandy is going to have a far better understanding of where her relationship with Kyle truly stands. We think that this is a hopeful show, though, so regardless of whatever bumps in the road the two come up against, they’ll find a way to figure things out.
