Riverdale season 3 episode 11 preview: Kelly Ripa to guest star
Let’s face it — it makes a great degree of sense for us to get a guest spot from Kelly Ripa at the show at some point. She’s the wife of series regular Mark Consuelos, and we’re sure that she is someone who the show’s producers wanted for a guest spot. Given that she is rather busy, however, with her own daytime talk show, pinning her down for an episode probably wasn’t the easiest thing in the world to do. Kudos to the Riverdale team for finding a way to figure it out.

KELLY RIPA GUEST STARS AS HIRAM’S MISTRESS – After one of their own becomes the target of an unseen assailant, the gang works together to get to the bottom of Riverdale’s latest mystery. Meanwhile, Betty (Lili Reinhart) works with a surprising ally to piece together clues about a series of deaths in the town. Elsewhere, a spiraling Archie (KJ Apa) sets out on a new path, while Jughead (Cole Sprouse) comes face to face with Ms. Mulwray (guest star Kelly Ripa), Hiram’s (Mark Consuelos) alleged mistress. Camila Mendes, Madelaine Petsch, Marisol Nichols, Madchen Amick, Luke Perry, Ashleigh Murray, Skeet Ulrich, Charles Melton and Vanessa Morgan also star. Greg Smith directed the episode written by Devon Turner & Will Ewing (#311). Original airdate 1/30/2019.
So what are we the most excited about when it comes to this episode? There are a few different things that are intriguing, but the most interesting to us is to continue to get Betty back in detective mode and then also seeing whether or not Archie can find a way to get some sort of new path for himself. We’re talking here about a guy who has gone basically through more than any of us could have ever imagined entering this season — who would’ve thought that we would have seen Archie in some sort of near-death situation last week? This show is still stuffed full of surprises and we’re sure that there are many more that are going to be coming in the next few weeks. It wouldn’t really be Riverdale unless there weren’t a few more ways to shock you.
