Celebrity Big Brother 2 episode 3 review: The first Veto; Tamar vs. Kandi

Tonight, Celebrity Big Brother 2 delivered an episode where we got some much-needed context on a number of things — including why the target has shifted towards Jonathan Bennett after it was clear he was running the show rather than Ryan Lochte (pictured above).

It didn’t take too long after the nominations for the nominations of Tom Green, The Mooch, and Bennett for people to realize that Jonathan shook things up a little bit by getting Tom on the block instead of Dina Lohan. This was an episode that was full of paranoia, as eventually tensions boiled over when Jonathan and Ryan started to realize that Lolo and some of the other women were working more angles than they thought (it also probably wasn’t the best move for Lolo to throw the bird at the memory wall).

Funniest moment of the episode – Natalie trying to make a final two with Lolo without even realizing that Tamar Braxton was in the group.

As interesting as Ryan and Jonathan’s potential fall from grace is, though, it still doesn’t hold a candle to some of what we’re seeing with Tamar and Kandi Burruss. They said that they wanted to play the game without causing some drama … only to then cause a lot of drama. Apparently, Tamar felt disrespected while on tour with Kandi’s group. We knew that this was going to erupt eventually and it did. We do think that Kandi was being insensitive, mostly because she’s not really the arbiter on what’s a big deal and what’s not. What Kandi should’ve just done was say she’s sorry for upsetting Tamar and then just try to move forward … even if she disagreed.

Veto results

Ricky Williams won the Veto, and then told Lolo about Ryan’s distrust in some of the women. Apparently, Ricky just loves to stir the pot and that makes us TEAM RICKY all the way for making the most of his tiny amount of airtime. We also think Ricky just likes the energy of some of the women better. He didn’t use the Veto and with that, we could be seeing either Anthony, Jonathan, or Tom go home … or will we? For those of you who are watching the feeds, you know that it’s complicated. Very complicated.
