Is SWAT new tonight on CBS? New season 2 episode 13 details
Unfortunately, you are going to have to be rather patient in order to see precisely what’s coming up next. There is no new episode coming on the air either tonight or the week after. Instead, you’ll be waiting until Thursday, January 31 to see the continuation of the Shemar Moore series, which will air an episode then entitled “Encore.” It’s one that will put them on a collision course with their past, and also test the team in a wide array of ways. It’s also going to be an episode that does further test Hondo’s ability to focus and be there for the team amidst some recent emotional turmoil that has haunted him. We do think that this series is doing a good job at the moment of diving into this man’s psyche, and showing some of the ins and outs of what makes him tick.

“Encore” – The SWAT team races to find a militant group that escaped their capture months earlier, when the criminals take hostages in exchange for a $500 million ransom from five corporations they deem corrupt. Also, Hondo’s emotional turmoil begins to affect his team leadership, on S.W.A.T., Thursday, Jan. 31 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Be prepared for a great performance from Moore from start to finish here, as we get a rather great opportunity in order to see a guy like this get vulnerable. That’s what this show is doing right now in order to break from the mold. There are so many shows out there in this vein that tend to have characters that choose to inhabit a single dimension. Yet, that is what makes SWAT different. It’s trying to make some of its people as strong and nuanced as possible, and that’s something that will probably be important for Hondo long on the other side of this episode. Just consider this the starting-off point for it, as there are probably some other good episodes you will have a chance to see throughout the key February sweeps ratings period.
