Grey’s Anatomy season 15 episode 10 preview: Meredith, Link face off

After tonight’s focus on Meredith and DeLuca, next week’s Grey’s Anatomy season 15 episode 10 could put the focus more on her interactions with Link. With that being said, we don’t get the sense that (at least at first) things are going to be particularly rosy between the Ortho God and Dr. Grey.

The thing about Link and Meredith is that the two have been doing their jobs for a good stretch of time now — in other words, they know that they’re doing. Or, they at least think that they do. This leads to the two of them being fairly set set in their ways, and that in turn could lead to somewhat of an interesting power struggle throughout this episode.

Below, CarterMatt has the official Grey’s Anatomy season 15 episode 10 synopsis for you with some other information regarding what lies ahead:

Meredith questions Link’s laid-back approach over a patient’s treatment. Maggie worries that Richard, Jackson and Catherine haven’t come to terms with Catherine’s diagnosis. Meanwhile, DeLuca steps up in the O.R. when Owen faces a setback.

This isn’t necessarily an episode that could feature Meredith making some sort of huge choice on her romantic future — or at least this is not how we’re interpreting it leading up to it airing. Instead, our viewpoint is that we’re going to get a good chance to just explore the dynamic that exists between her and Link, which hasn’t been fleshed out too much other than just the passing conversation.

As for what else we’re getting here, the biggest story has to be the dynamic between Jackson, Richard, and Catherine. The two men at the center of this storyline haven’t really known about her diagnosis for a very-long time and because of that, we don’t think that they’re fulling prepared to process the information that’s been given to them. This is something that they have to think about for the long-term of this season, given that they need to recognize the severity of Catherine’s crisis before they potentially lose her. That’s not something that they should really want to risk. We’re not as concerned with whatever happens between DeLuca and Owen, since this could be just some of the standard ins and outs of being in a hospital when sometimes things do not go as planned.
