Dirty John season 2 premiere date hopes for Bravo series

Is there going to be a Dirty John season 2 at some point in the future? Within this piece, we’ll be talking about both that and when the series could be coming back.

Let’s start things off, at the moment, with this: Technically, Dirty John has already been renewed for another season. As a matter of fact, it ended up receiving a two-season order from the jump. Bravo was so confident with this series that they wanted to give it multiple kicks at the can and to date, it has shown itself to be worth that. The ratings have been solid for season 1, and even if this renewal hadn’t come about we still have a feeling that eventually, some more episodes would have been ordered. For starters, the show receives some positive attention; beyond that, it’s not exactly as though Bravo as a network has a number of other prominent scripted shows. They really need to do whatever they can in order to take advantage of some of the ones that they have.

So while you are going to be seeing a Dirty John season 2 in the future, it is worth noting that the second batch of episodes may not be even remotely similar to the first. The plan here is for Dirty John to be an anthology series and with that in mind, every single season that we see is going to have its own unique story and coat of paint. They may have some similar cast members, as well, but it is hard to adequately predict what’s going to be coming up for an anthology in the first season. We don’t quite understand the patterns of them just yet.

We would love to say that Dirty John season 2 is going to premiere later this year, giving us a single season every twelve months. Yet, we have a feeling that the priority here is going to be story. Once there’s a great idea in place and a cast that can back it up, at that point the series can start to explore a few other options, including finding the precise time period that could work best for it. We like to think that Bravo is going to be willing to play the long game and with that, they’ll take their time before getting more episodes on the air.
