At the end of this past installment, you saw Will have an opportunity to come back; yet, in the process of doing this he also had a gun. That’s something that seems to be a sticking point with him and Natalie and at present, it’s a little bit difficult to know for certain just what way the story is going to go. The only thing that we have some confidence in is that the two are going to have to find some common ground for this relationship to work. Will needs to realize that she doesn’t want weapons around, but at the same time she has to realize that he is traumatized from what happened to him and wants to feel safe.

So what else is coming beyond this particular storyline? Think in terms of more conflict for a number of different relationships, including Connor and Ava in the wake of him punching his father at the gala tonight. For more, be sure to check out the official Chicago Med season 4 episode 11 synopsis below:

01/16/2019 (08:00PM – 09:00PM) (Wednesday) : Will adjusts to hospital life in the aftermath of his recent undercover activities. Ethan and April’s personal relationship starts to interfere with their working situation. Dr. Charles and Dr. Manning collaborate on a patient suffering from Alzheimer’s. Dr. Rhodes and Dr. Bekker have a difference of opinion in dealing with a woman in desperate need of a kidney transplant. TV-14 L

So what story has us the most intrigued at the moment? It’s ironically one that was not even mentioned here. At the end of tonight’s episode Dr. Charles was forced in some ways to confront his loneliness and we do think that it has him thinking more about that. He’s a very-successful doctor, but at the same time his personal life is empty. His loves have come and gone and his daughter isn’t really around all that much. That puts him in a position where he spends a lot of time away from work in isolation. Is that something that he really wants for himself the remainder of his life? Hopefully, we’re going to get some more insight on that over the course of this episode moving into the back half of the season.
