Want to know what’s coming on Arrow season 7 episode 10? Well, “Shattered Lives” is, ironically, going to revolved around a rebuild.
At the start of this particular episode, what you’re going to see is Oliver Queen trying to reestablish a moderate sense of peace for himself in Star City, something that he certainly deserves after everything that he’s gone through. Yet, finding that is going to be easier said than done. Oliver, over the course of this episode, is going to have to readjust to life without prison and seeing if he and Felicity can make things work. Yet, they are certainly different people now and regardless of whatever headway they made in Elseworlds, there is some work that still needs to be done there.
The other reality here that Oliver needs to face is that this new Green Arrow (who has a rather close, familial connection to him) is still out there, and there is also Diaz still to worry about as well. There’s a lot happening within this world top to bottom and some of the characters are so disparate that it’s hard to envision how everyone is going to make it back together. Yet, they still need to given that this is when Arrow is fundamentally at its best.
Below, CarterMatt has the official Arrow season 7 episode 10 synopsis for some other insight into what’s ahead.
OLIVER RETURNS TO HIS REGULAR LIFE IN STAR CITY — Oliver (Stephen Amell) is ready to get back to work with the SCPD and to focus on his marriage with Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards). However, when Dinah (Juliana Harkavy) tasks Oliver with tracking the new Green Arrow (Sea Shimooka) things take a surprising turn. Meanwhile, Diggle (David Ramsey) and Lyla (guest star Audrey Marie Anderson) must answer to ARGUS about Diaz (Kirk Acevedo). Andi Armaganian directed the episode written by Benjamin Raab & Deric A. Hughes (#710). Original airdate 1/21/2019.
There are a number of issues that Arrow season 7 is going to need to address by the end of it, starting with whether or not there is any way to make the flash-forwards somewhat different than what they are. This season has been in many ways shockingly dark, even more so than we imagined that it ever would be going in. We want to look towards that particular timeline with some element of hope that characters can get better … even if we are not actually seeing all that much in the way of evidence of it.
