The Conners episode 11 (finale) spoilers: Want to know what’s coming?

The Conners episode 11 (otherwise known as the season finale) is set to air on ABC come Tuesday, January 22. This is going to be a pretty important episode for obvious reasons, since it has the challenge of tying together most of what we’ve seen from all of the ten episodes beforehand. It also seems interested in bookending the story that we first saw with Roseanne’s death at the start of the season.

For more reference of that, just take a look at the episode title: “We Continue to Truck.” The premiere was entitled “Keen on Truckin’,” and we feel like this episode was named this way just in case this did turn out to be the final episode of the series. Nothing was ever guaranteed when it comes to a season 2, though at least for the time being it feels like that is something that is going to happen. The show may not be a dominant ratings hit anymore but it does seem to still have a loyal audience.

While in some ways the finale is a celebration of everything that has happened over the first ten episodes, we can’t also ignore that it could be rather-sad at times, as well. This is a series that has continually tried to take the good with the bad in a way synonymous with another sitcom in The Facts of Life. It is grounded within its own brand of realism and we’re not sure that it will deviate from that as you see certain members of the family struggling in the finale.

Clearly, there’s a lot that is going to be going on in this episode, and that’s a big part of what makes it exciting! We’re going to be here to discuss the finale as it airs, so rest assured that there is some more good stuff coming…
