Blue Bloods season 9 episode 12 video: Can Frank reinstate a fired cop?

Blue Bloods season 9

When Blue Bloods season 9 episode 12 airs on CBS this coming Friday, redemption will be the name of the game — for one cop in particular.

Judging from the official promo released by CBS, at the forefront of Friday night’s story is going to be a cop who finds herself removed from duty. She’s now working at a restaurant and when Frank encounters her there, he will find himself wrestling with some serious guilt after the fact about the way that she was fired. Suffice it to say, he’s going to do more or less everything that he can to ensure that this particular situation turns around and there is a little bit more of a positive outcome on the other side of it.

As for whether or not he’s going to be successful in this mission to get her back, that remains to be seen. While we definitely do know that Frank is exceptional at what he does, being police commissioner does not give him the power to just approve and do virtually anything that he wants. There are still certain orders that need to be followed and there is a procedure here that is important to follow. Frank in the promo actually doesn’t seem to care all that much about the rules, which is a slightly surprising turn of events here given that this is a guy who, at least for some of the series’ run, has tried to be the beacon for following rules and getting things done the right way.

What else is coming in this episode?

We’ve talked about this on a few different occasions already. For starters, Danny is going to be diving into the world of college sports (and also gambling) because of a murder of a young athlete. Meanwhile, Jamie and Eddie are going to pick a wedding venue! It’s understandable why Frank often gets the most promotion for his stories, given that Tom Selleck is often billed as the marquee star. Yet, in the process of him getting center-stage promotion we’d advice you to not forget about a couple of other notable names — basically, everyone else in the Reagan family. The group together is a reason for the show’s popularity.
