Outlander season 4 episode 11 preview: Will Murtagh find Stephen Bonnet?

One of the most interesting things about this episode is that theoretically, Roger may not need rescuing anymore — there’s at least a chance that he went through that standing stone in North Carolina. If that’s the case, he is safe, but in turn, it may be hard for Brianna to find and see him given her present circumstance. Roger doesn’t know that she is pregnant or anything that has happened to her; because of that, he is in a somewhat-difficult spot. It’s hard to think of someone else when you don’t have the information … and also when you are tired and your life is in danger.
So what else is coming within this episode? Well, we know that Murtagh is out to find Stephen Bonnet in order to ensure that Jamie can get revenge for what he did to Brianna. He’s going to do what he can in order to help him, while also do his best in order to recruit Fergus to the cause. (So much for Fergus and Marsali having a fairly quiet life in Wilmington at the moment.)
Below, CarterMatt offers up the official Outlander season 4 episode 11 synopsis with some more information as to what’s ahead:
Jamie, Claire and Young Ian embark on a long and uncertain journey to rescue Roger, while Brianna forges a friendship with one of Jamie’s old friends as she fends off Aunt Jocasta’s attempts to secure her a husband. Meanwhile, Murtagh enlists Fergus’s help with a dangerous task.
By the end of this episode, the biggest thing that we are hoping for more than anything else is that we’re going to see a lot of big, emotional stakes. Brianna, for example, is going to have to find a way to stand up to Aunt Jocasta and keep her belief that Roger is still out there. Meanwhile, for Murtagh we’re going to see him show once more his loyalty to Jamie and in the aftermath of that, don’t be surprised if Jamie ends up needing to do a thing or two for him, as well, down the line. Just because the Regulator storyline isn’t altogether prominent right now does not mean that the story is going to remain like that moving forward.
