Blue Bloods season 9 episode 12 preview: Jamie, Eddie, & a wedding venue
“Milestones” is the name for this episode and over the course of it, what you’re going to see for these two is them come to a decision on a major part of the wedding-planning process: A venue. We like to think that this is a welcome sign that the wedding will happen this season, though we’ve also watched enough TV at this point to know that it’s better to take things just one story at a time. The last thing that you should ever want to do is get too far ahead of yourselves, since you’ll miss some good stuff in the process of that.

“Milestones” – After a former officer waits on Frank at a restaurant, he feels guilty about the circumstances surrounding why she was fired, and he tries to reinstate her. Also, Danny and Baez investigate the murder of a star college basketball player linked to sports betting, Erin seeks justice in an apparent DUI, and Jamie and Eddie pick a wedding venue, on BLUE BLOODS, Friday, Jan. 11 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
The basketball part of this story is fascinating to us for a couple of reasons. First and foremost, we’re a basketball fan. Beyond that, we also just like the idea of Danny and Baez hitting the basketball court — Donnie Wahlberg is a big basketball fan and we’ve seen some social-media footage of him shooting some hoops.
As for what else is in the episode, our belief is that the episode’s title is tied to Frank Reagan in some form. It’s going to be an opportunity for him to see if he can help someone who may have gone through some issues in her past. It’s possible that she was struggling with sobriety given that “Milestones” is often something that is used in relation to it. (That’s just our theory, though.) This could also be tied in some way, though, to what’s going on with Erin at the moment.
