Gotham season 5 episode 3 is going to be coming on Fox on Thursday, January 17, and this would could feature some more dimensions to the city in the aftermath of some of the attacks. As we’ve seen for most of the season, this is a place that is desperately trying to recover from what has befallen it — think in terms of the attacks at the end of this past season, or the simple fact that there are villains now running amok across it. Basically, it doesn’t feel like there is any peace coming for anyone in the near future.

What’s always been interesting about this show, though, is that some of its villains have long struggled to get on the same page with one another, and we have a feeling that this is going to continue. Take, for example, someone like Oswald — he doesn’t necessarily want to see Gotham in ruin, mostly because if that happens, there’s really not all that much left for him. He would much rather find a way to see the city survive than to have it completely fall apart, so we wouldn’t be surprised if there are some conflicts coming between him and some of the other villains within the city.
For this specific episode, though, be prepared to see Selina Kyle do what she can in order to find Jeremiah, someone who certainly qualifies as the sort of villain who wants to see the city in ruins. For some more information all about what’s coming, we suggest checking out the Gotham season 5 episode 3 synopsis below (via ComicBook.com):
With the creation of Haven as a safe place for refugees, Gordon (Ben McKenzie) hopes to stop the gang-fighting in Gotham. Selina is determined to find Jeremiah (guest star Cameron Monaghan) and convinces Bruce to help her. Meanwhile, Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) goes to Haven to reclaim his staff.
As this season goes along, we’re really only expecting the danger to escalate across many fronts. Take, for example, what’s going to be coming with Bane — eventually, you’ll see the rise of Shane West as this character. It may not happen in the early going, but he’ll make his presence felt by the time we get a little bit closer to the end.
