What are we going to learn on Lethal Weapon season 3 episode 11? Well, for starters, you’ll get another reminder that for Roger Murtaugh, vacation is just not something that really happens. He may think that he deserves a break, and he probably does, but some familiar stuff is going to get in the way of it. This is probably why the character thinks that he’s too old for this you-know-what.

Below, CarterMatt has the full Lethal Weapon season 3 episode 11 synopsis with some more information as to what’s coming:
Murtaugh takes a family vacation, but is pulled back into work when he witnesses an alleged abduction. Cole is left to investigate a murder himself, but the two cases begin to intersect. Meanwhile, Erica’s (guest star Nishi Munshi) mother, Senator Malick (guest star Anna Khaja), comes to town and stirs things up between Erica, Cole and the case at hand in the all-new “Dial M for Murtaugh” episode of LETHAL WEAPON airing Tuesday, Jan. 8 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
Entering this episode, one of the things that is certainly on our mind is what Damon Wayans said earlier this season about potentially leaving at the conclusion of the finale. If this happens, it makes sense for it to be something that the producers plot and think about in advance. It’s fairly easy to even craft a potential exit story for Murtaugh beyond just potentially killing him off. Another option is to just have stuff like his vacation be interrupted, and have this be the sort of thing that causes him to think a little bit more about his future. Does he want to continue to be out in the field, especially with a guy like Wesley Cole, for the rest of his career? That’s something that he may figure out over the weeks ahead.
Of course, we have come to enjoy the partnership between these characters, and also the story of Cole himself. It’s going to be hard for the series to survive another departure if it happens, but for now it’s possible the show may not come back and it’s all a moot point, anyway. A lot of that is going to be up to what Fox wants to do in the spring.
