Is Bull new tonight on CBS? A look towards the complicated future

However, that’s not actually what you are getting tonight. There is no new episode tonight, and based on the current schedule, there won’t be another one on CBS until we get around to mid-January. Obviously, this has been a rather tumultuous time for the series as of late, given the recent news that has come out regarding star Michael Weatherly and a settlement by CBS based on comments and remarks that he made back at the end of season 1 production to Eliza Dushku, who appeared in the role of J.P. For the time being, though, it does appear as though the show will go on for Bull and there won’t be any aftereffects to the recent reports when it comes to the series itself. With that in mind, the show’s future will largely be up to the show’s performance. We still have not made it to the halfway point of the season and with that in mind, there are still many other stories left to tell featuring a number of these different characters. For starters, Jill Flint will be returning in the role of Diana Lindsay, the on-again, off-again love interest to Dr. Jason Bull who last surfaced in season 2. This episode will serve as an opportunity to see where they stand, at least in the aftermath of Bull having a heart attack at the end of season 2.
As for some of the supporting characters, what we mostly want to see are some more opportunities for them to have time in the spotlight. Take, for example, the new character of Taylor. We don’t really know her altogether well since her time on the show kicked off earlier this year. Doesn’t this feel like a prime opportunity to get to know her better? We’d also like to see along the way here big episodes for both Chunk and also Benny, who haven’t had enough to do as of late.
