Ink Master season 11 finale rankings: Will Tiffer, Teej, or Tony win?

Ink Master

As we get close to the Ink Master season 11 finale on Tuesday night, why not go ahead and unleash some final contestant rankings?

At this point in the competition, there are only three artists left in Teej Poole, Tony Medellin, and Tiffer Wright. Each one of them is super-skilled; they’d have to be in order to make it to this point! This is not an easy competition and it’s one in which you go home if you have a big slip-up. These three have been very consistent, and we do think that there is a path for all three of them to find a way to finish the season on top.

For this particular article, we are ranking the final three on the basis of overall performance to date, plus also the show’s edit and who we think could fare the best in the final face-off, which includes a back piece and also a six-hour tattoo with their individual coach.

3. Tony – He’s shown himself to be an excellent technician, and when it comes to just banging out great tattoos in a short period of time he may be better than anyone. He proved some of those skills on the tattoo marathon this past episode. Yet, Tony doesn’t have the same resume as either Teej or Tiffer at this point, and he needed that final round last week in order to make it to the finale. For now, it’s clear that Tony is the underdog … though this may be precisely where he wants to be at the moment.

2. Teej – He’s done a fantastic job the past several weeks of getting stronger and showing precisely everything that he can do as an artist. While he’s known for doing a lot of super-realistic black-and-gray work, he’s also proven himself to be exceptional at color and incredibly creative. He didn’t have as strong of a start to the competition as Tiffer did, but we really do think that the finish here is going to be neck-and-neck.

1. Tiffer – We do think, in the end, that contestants’ perception of various artists matter; to date, Tiffer has been the artist perceived the most to be an enormous threat to win. He’s exceptionally creative both in terms of design and application, and he does constantly find a way to challenge himself with his work. He did have a few trouble spots in the middle of the season but, save for one instance, he’s avoided the bottom throughout the season and he should be the person everyone is fearing at the moment.
