God Friended Me episode 12 return date: Who is Henry Chase?

God Friended Me episode 12

Do you want to see the God Friended Me episode 12 return date over at CBS? Rest assured, we’ve got more news all about that within — coupled with some of what you can expect to see.

The sad thing to remind you of here, first and foremost, is that tonight’s new episode is the fall finale for the series. It’s going to be heading off for the holidays, which shouldn’t really come as much of a shock to anyone given the fact that this is what the majority of shows tend to do at around this time of year. Given that this is an all-new series, CBS is not possibly going to run the risk of putting it on the air. After all, they recognize that there are some serious problems that would come out of them doing so, most notably that it would be on at a time when there are not a whole lot of viewers around.

As for that aforementioned God Friended Me episode 12 return date, you are going to have a chance to see the show back on the air on Sunday, January 6 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time. This episode will prove to be a pivotal one in that it actually furthers along the story of Falken to a certain degree. Beyond that, it should also give you another important story-of-the-week plot that puts Miles and his father together right after an emotional story about the death of Miles’ mother.

Take a look below for more insight:

“Ready Player Two” – Miles turns to his dad for help when he learns that his latest friend suggestion was adopted after being dropped off at Arthur’s church as a baby. Also, Pria (Parminder Nagra) comes clean about Henry Chase, the real identity of the hacker Falken, and his possible connection to the God Account, on GOD FRIENDED ME, Sunday, Jan. 6 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

As we learned tonight, Pria was standing within the childhood home of Chase, claiming to have more information on “the truth.” What that means is something that (hopefully) the next new episode will disclose.

How is the show looking in terms of season 2?

This does feel like a pretty-good time in order to raise this question with us being around the midway point roughly. While we don’t think that God Friended Me has necessarily shattered any ratings records for CBS, we do think that it represents something that the network is trying to move towards — series that are a little bit younger and offer up a hopeful message. We do still think that crime series are their bread-and-butter, but if they can find a way to bring in younger viewers while also pleasing some of their established base, that’s the best thing for them and that’s why we are cautiously optimistic on the future.
