Midnight, Texas season 2 episode 8 preview: ‘Patience is a Virtue’

Midnight, Texas season 2

Do you want to know some of what’s coming on Midnight, Texas season 2 episode 8? Well, let’s just say that some of it is going to begin with a little bit of chaos. We’re almost at the end of the season and the closer that we get to that, the clearer that it’s going to become that almost anything could happen … and that almost anyone can die. It feels like we’re at a point in the show where we all just collectively have to prepare for ourselves for the possibility that not everyone among the core ensemble is probably going to make it out of this season alive. It’s not the easiest thing to accept, but with a show like this, death is inevitable.

Granted, we’ll just be happy in the event that the show itself is alive after this season once you think about some of the ratings for the second season. They’ve been far from spectacular (certainly far from what we would’ve wanted them to be), and they are definitely enough to leave us worried that there could not be any more of the show moving forward. NBC may not finalize a decision until a little ways after the finale but this is definitely still something to think about — it’s hard not to, but you have to also find a way to not allow yourself to be so distracted that you miss out on the story we have left this season. After all, next week’s “Patience is a Virtue” is likely going to be an episode that features threatening enemies, searches for important characters, and all sorts of other interesting odds and ends that could send the story careening in a number of different directions.

Suffice it to say, this is an episode worth watching live, even though we understand that it may not be the most convenient one in the world given the fact that it is airing just a matter of days before Christmas. (Watching live is still important, people!)
