Is Chicago Med new tonight on NBC? Season 4 episode 10 expectations

The unfortunate news here, alas, is that there isn’t another new episode of Chicago Med coming from now until early January (think January 9) when the medical drama returns with new episodes. It’s a reasonably-long time to wait, but we’ve certainly seen worse midseason hiatuses. Also, we can celebrate the fact that there are some rather-good things to look forward to when Chicago Med does come back on the air.
For starters, how about that Will / Natalie cliffhanger? At the end of the midseason finale Will was put into protective custody and with that, didn’t get to marry Natalie at the church. The entire wedding was ruined and he looked terrible for it. Did he have a choice? Not really, but he could have clued her in to what was going on with the FBI and with his brother Jay along with the way. He was trying to follow orders, but don’t you think she would’ve kept that secret?
A big part of the midseason premiere is likely going to be whether or not Will has an opportunity to actually win his wife back and, beyond just that, whether or not there’s going to be a chance for them to have another wedding.
Elsewhere…
Given that Connor is seen throwing a punch in the preview that is out there for the next new episode, it feels fair to say that he’s got a pretty darn exciting storyline that is coming up. Also, April may continue to be wrestling with some of her feelings towards Ethan, who seems to be getting closer now to Vicky Glass. They were exes but it certainly seems more and more like they are leading towards being in a romantic relationship once more.
Finally, executive producers Andrew Schneider and Diane Frolov told CarterMatt prior to the fall finale that we would have an opportunity to explore more of Daniel Charles’ past. While it’s not clear if that will happen for certain in the midseason premiere, at least it’s something to look forward to alongside the likes of Patti Murin and Ato Essandoh.
All in all, signs point to us getting a really eventful arc of Chicago Med episodes down the road.
