Critics’ Choice Awards 2019: Better Call Saul, Killing Eve, Richard Madden among nominees
Below, you can see some of the nominees for the TV categories, with a little analysis thrown in there. The 2019 Critics’ Choice Awards will be aired on The CW come January 13.

The Americans (FX)
Better Call Saul (AMC)
The Good Fight (CBS All Access)
Homecoming (Amazon)
Killing Eve (BBC America)
My Brilliant Friend (HBO)
Pose (FX)
Succession (HBO)
It’s nice to get Better Call Saul back in the fold; meanwhile, My Brilliant Friend is probably the big surprise here — it may be the most critically-acclaimed show out there for a show few readers have heard of at the moment.
Actor in a Drama Series
Freddie Highmore – The Good Doctor (ABC)
Diego Luna – Narcos: Mexico (Netflix)
Richard Madden – Bodyguard (Netflix)
Bob Odenkirk – Better Call Saul (AMC)
Billy Porter – Pose (FX)

Elisabeth Moss – The Handmaid’s Tale (Hulu)
Sandra Oh – Killing Eve (BBC America)

Noah Emmerich – The Americans (FX)
Justin Hartley – This Is Us (NBC)

Julia Garner – Ozark (Netflix)
Thandie Newton – Westworld (HBO)
Rhea Seehorn – Better Call Saul (AMC)
