Bull season 3 episode 10 sneak peek: Meet Father Andy

So who is Father Andy? As the sneak peek below perfectly explains, he is a priest who finds himself in a very-difficult bind as he finds himself accused of a crime that he did not commit in a hit-and-run. The problem is that he knows who did the act, because this person confessed it to him. Yet, the rules of confession keep him from being able to pass along some of that information.
In this sneak peek, Bull and Benny also do more or less whatever they can in order to see if there is any way at all they can convince Father Andy to be willing to hand down at least some sort of pertinent information. Alas, he’s not altogether willing to do that. He believes strongly in both his faith and his duty and because of that, he cannot bring himself to a place where he would be okay to actually share some of his thoughts on any of this. He’s more than happy to just let God carry him in the direction of His choosing.
So where does this leave Michael Weatherly and Freddie Rodriguez’s characters? Basically between a rock and a hard place given that they do now have to find a way in order to help someone who really does not appear to be willing to help himself by any means at all. We don’t think Father Andy wants to go to jail, but his faith and his duty are more important than his freedom within his mind. TAC is going to have to get creative in the event that they want to find a way to actually succeed in this particular case.
Beyond of course the case itself, there’s a real point of excitement that comes here from getting to see William Sadler in the role of Father Andy — he’s an exceptional actor coming off of a really strong arc on Power, and what is immediately so much fun about this part is that it feels like a complete 180 from anything that we’ve seen from him as Tony Teresi.
