STAR season 3 episode 10 return date hopes for Queen Latifah, cast
The bad news in the wake of the fall finale is rather simple: You’re going to be waiting for a really long time in order to see some of what’s coming up next. Fox has a tendency to put this show and Empire on super-long hiatuses and this year is basically no exception to the rule. The network is putting some different programming on the air over the next few months and you’re going to have to wait to see what the producers have coming up for Queen Latifah and the rest of the cast.
As of right now, the safe assumption is that STAR season 3 is going to return with new episodes in March right alongside Empire. Given that these two shows are set within the same world, it does make a certain degree of sense to continue to put them on the same night for as long as humanly possible. (For the record, we do think that the odds are extremely high that we’re going to see the two shows share the same night for at least one more year after this — if not longer.)
As for some of what’s going to be coming up on the second half of the season, we imagine that the same themes that have been present over the course of the series will resurface once more: The highs and lows that go along with stardom. As you try everything in your power to move up the ladder, there are going to be a number of highs and lows that go along with that. There’s going to be heartbreak, there’s going to be struggle, and you certainly want to hope that there will be some victories along the way.
Of course, we’re still one of those people who wants to see the people on STAR eventually become superstars and have to navigate that world even more than ever before. It’s not so much an underdog story at that point but once you get to a certain point on this show, do you really need that element anymore? This is certainly an argument that we have posed in the past when it comes to Silicon Valley and we certainly think it does still works here.
Ultimately, though, just prepare for drama, possible, heartbreak, and even a possible cliffhanger at the very end of the season. After all, isn’t this one of the things that STAR does best?
