This episode next week is going to be the final installment of the year and over the course of “Tick Tock,” you are going to see one of the most complicated stories to date. After all, Pride’s father and also Wade are going to find themselves held captive by someone who is going to order him to do more or less whatever they want. Otherwise, these two could die. This is going to arguably test this character significantly, and the title seems to be a pretty-clear reference to a line that the Angel of Death threw in his direction a little bit earlier this season. This is a reminder this

Below, CarterMatt does have the full NCIS: New Orleans season 5 episode 10 synopsis with a little bit more information all about what’s coming:

“Tick Tock” – While on a sunrise jog, Pride is grabbed by two masked men who order him to complete a series of tasks in order to save Wade and his father, Cassius Pride (Stacy Keach), who are being held captive, on NCIS: NEW ORLEANS, Tuesday, Dec. 11 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

By the end of this episode, we do hope that there are some opportunities for closure on some of what’s been ailing Pride as of late with the Angel of Death and thoughts over his future. Is it possible that he could actually die in this episode? While we do think it’s reasonably unlikely, you really cannot rule too much out with this show. There’s a target on his back and his relationship with death is fairly complicated. With that in mind, we certainly do think that almost anything could happen here. That’s something we have to just expect and prepare for as we move further and further into this episode.

Given that this is the final episode of the year, we do think there’s at least a small chance for there to be some sort of holiday theme in here … but it really doesn’t seem to be an immediate priority. If there is only so much time in this episode, the writers may have to prioritize one over the other.

Somewhere in this story, can we also have a chance to learn some fun things about a few of the other characters? We certainly hope so.
