The Flash 100th episode will feature a really great WestAllen moment

Or, I really should say, there are a series of great moments. At the center of this episode is going to be a journey in time for Nora through the first four seasons of the show, as she looks to find a way to stop Cicada in the process. Why this matter is that these moments in time offer her up a rare opportunity to actually get some insight on her parents’ relationship, including how they first got together and some of what their lives looked like so many years ago. Remember Eddie Thawne and Patty Spivot? They were a part of this show once upon a time, and they are characters who Iris and Barry needed experiences with in order to find their way to each other. (No guarantee that either one of these two characters will appear in the 100th episode, though.)
In speaking further on the subject of what’s coming up to TV Guide, here is just some of what Candice Patton had to say about some of what Nora will see:
“She gets to see Barry and Iris as we’ve known to love them over the past four seasons … Of them kind of being there for each other, Iris especially being there for Barry during some of his hardest times… It’s really nice, I think, for Nora to see the romance between her mother and father and why they are so in love.”
There is obviously a lot of sweetness and romance that could be within this episode for WestAllen, but Nora cannot take her eye on the ball too much given that Barry and Iris have also dealt with many a threat within that span of time. Think in terms of the Reverse-Flash, of Zoom, of Savitar, and more recently The Thinker. If she makes the wrong move at any point in here, it’s more or less possible that the entire timeline gets upended and things are never the same. Flashpoint was a dangerous thing and just Nora coming back to the past in the first place has created a number of chaotic situations that were rather hard to predict in advance. This is one of the reasons why Cicada has started his rampage in the present a little bit earlier! Clearly, her stopping the Enlightenment alongside Barry in the season 4 finale carried with it a ripple effect, and that is something that could come for other characters moving forward.
