Are you interested in some more scoop regarding Charmed episode 8? If so, we should make one thing very clear — this is going to be an episode that features more danger than almost any before it. We’re expecting a great deal of action, drama, and excitement, but also a major character in mortal danger. (Do we really think that a major character is going to be killed off before the halfway point of the season? Probably not, but we do understand the merits that come with raising the stakes to this level.)
Below, CarterMatt has the full Charmed episode 8 synopsis, which carries with it some more news when it comes to some of what lies ahead:
A STICKY SITUATION – While on the hunt for Jada (guest star Aleyse Shannon), Mel (Melonie Diaz) scours The Book of Shadows as Harry (Rupert Evans) and Charity (guest star Virginia Williams) cross reference them to find any clues that might lead them to this new demon. As if that isn’t enough, they discover that there is a Changeling Demon on the loose that puts one of the sisters in danger. Elsewhere, Maggie (Sarah Jeffery) signs up for a job helping to market a new dating app which could land her a summer internship. Macy (Madeleine Mantock) decides to go outside her comfort zone after a little encouragement from Maggie. Meanwhile, Mel is given a task by The Elders that she was not expecting. Ser’Darius Blain and Nick Hargrove also star. Vanessa Parise directed the episode written by Zoe Marshall (#108). Original airdate 12/2/2018.
It’s probably clear just on reading that alone that there is a lot of different, exciting stuff that is going on, whether it be battling a Changeling Demon or just seeing some of these characters try to get somewhat of a better handle on their own lives … which has not always been the easiest thing to do in a world where they are carrying on so much. There’s a lot of stress that some of these people are being forced to take on and we’re curious to see just how they will handle it … in addition to whatever is coming up after the fact. We are, after all, now approaching the very end of the first part of this season. That’s a chance for the Charmed writers to really show what they’re capable of and delivering something that is big, dramatic, and hopefully also sets the stage for whatever is coming up next.
Just remember here that Charmed has a full-season order of 22 episodes already. What that effectively means is that there are a number of opportunities coming in order to tell great stories.
