Is Grey’s Anatomy new tonight on ABC? What to watch out for

Unfortunately, that’s not going to be happening, and it goes beyond just this current week. Grey’s Anatomy wrapped up its fall run on ABC this past week, and with an episode that was jam-packed with all sorts of content. Not only did you see a gigantic windstorm cause a lot of carnage throughout Seattle, but beyond just that there are many personal revelations that have led many characters unsettled. Take, for example, Teddy finally telling Owen that she is pregnant with his baby … right of course when Amelia deciding that she was officially going to foster Betty. Meanwhile, we also had DeLuca making a big play for Meredith’s heart, and Nico and Levi starting to actually grow closer after the two had some serious heart-to-hearts together.
So when is Grey’s Anatomy going to be returning with new episodes? – ABC still has not confirmed an official premiere date, but more than likely we’re going to be seeing new episodes back at some point in mid-to-late January. That tends to be the sort of thing that this network does, as they want to give you a lot of its new episodes in batches. They don’t really like to do the thing where you have a few new episodes, a week off, some more new episodes, and then another week off. They like to deliver several in a row, followed by a rather big break after the fact.
When Grey’s Anatomy does return, it will probably be a part of the TGIT lineup once more with Station 19 and also How to Get Away with Murder. The first order of business here is likely going to be trying to figure out a way in which to resolve the blackout cliffhanger from this past episode, not that we’re entirely worried about that. Do you really think that this show is going to deliver you some sort of epic cliffhanger where a character gets written out like this? That just doesn’t feel like a big enough way for us to lose anyone.
Granted, we are still pretty early on in the season and with that, we have to think that there are more opportunities for characters to have a spotlight coming up.
