The Blacklist season 6: What would be the best crossover possibilities?

The Blacklist season 6 is not premiering on NBC until the new year, but that isn’t keeping us from starting to think about crossovers ideas!

Throughout the month of November, we are spotlighting our Crossover November series where we talk about a number of fun crossover ideas, and we certainly do think that there are plenty when it comes to this particular show! After all, this is a great exploration of heroes and villains, and we think that the world of The Blacklist would be awesome if meshed with a number of other interesting, character-based series. We’re trying in some ways to be realistic here with some of our choices, but be warned that by the end of this article, we’re going to go completely off the rails with some dream crossover prospects.

Blindspot – This has always felt like the most sensible crossover for The Blacklist to do, mostly because the two shows are tonally so similar and it’s just easy to see how they could fit into each other’s worlds. Also, the teams would probably have a nice rapport as they shared some stories about the time in which they’ve been out, fighting crime together and taking out the bad guys. While Jane and Reddington may not get along all that well, what about with Remi?

New Amsterdam – Where would a Blacklist character go when they are in need of medical attention? How about a local New York hospital! While there, they can meet a smart team of doctors and also question why Dr. Max Goodwin looks so familiar. (Plot twist: Tom Keen survived, became a doctor, and is so good at what he does that it’s almost too obvious that he faked his own death.)

Criminal Minds – It’s never going to happen, but it feels like a good many Blacklisters would be on the BAU’s list for one reason or another. Also, we really want to see how someone would profile Reddington with his million or so stories that may or may not be exaggerations. (Give us some scenes with Rossi and Cooper!)

Better Call Saul – Yes, this is our ridiculous dream selection of the four that would never actually happen, but try to tell us that this wouldn’t be incredibly entertaining! Saul Goodman, at least the one we’re about to see in season 5, would be a great person to represent Reddington should he need it. Also, we feel like Kim and Aram would be friends.
