The Good Doctor season 2 episode 8 preview: A story of … ‘Stories’

Want to know what’s coming on The Good Doctor season 2 episode 8? This is an episode that seems very much focused on the story of the patients. After all, the title here is … “Stories.” That’s not exactly much of a spoiler, but we do think that there is a larger meaning to this beyond just some sort of reference point to the fact that there are important stories to tell.

So what exactly will be coming up? Below, CarterMatt has The Good Doctor season 2 episode 8 synopsis with some other information as to what is coming up next:

Dr. Shaun Murphy, Dr. Audrey Lim and Dr. Claire Brown’s E.R. patient is forced to reveal a secret to her husband after their treatment caused a complication. Meanwhile, Dr. Neil Melendez, Dr. Morgan Reznick and Dr. Alex Park struggle with a patient whose parents don’t believe in vaccinations.

Basically, all of the doctors on The Good Doctor are going to have their work cut out for them trying to figure out how to solve some of the more complicated cases that they’ve seen so far this season. Beyond just that, though, there is also some controversy that these characters will be taking on to go along with it. Vaccines are a subject that a lot of people don’t really want to touch on, mostly because there are a lot of DIVIDED opinions on the subject. Yet, that’s also one of the big reasons why The Good Doctor actually does need to take the subject on. They do need to find a way to present some facts to viewers, even though there are some people out there who may not be willing to listen. Yet, why not try, whether you are talking about vaccines or some other subjects?

Beyond the operating-room, though, we do hope that we get to explore more of the personal lives for some of these characters — there’s always more to explore when it comes to the entire ensemble and we want to see more of what makes these people tick, and also precisely how they live outside of the hospital. We’ve got a good foundation for everyone on the series; now, the writers have an opportunity to blow that foundation outward and give us all sorts of great stuff featuring a number of the singers.
