NCIS: Los Angeles season 10: Where is Shay Mosley? Nia Long’s status

For those who aren’t fans of the character, you may be rather pleased to know that she is not coming back in the near future. However, for those who are fans, you may be disappointed by this greatly. Mosley went into the wind at the end of this past episode in hopes of finding a way to clear herself after what happened both in Mexico and then back stateside this past week — she wants to ensure the end of the cartel drama that is threatening herself and those close to her. At first, there were questions aplenty as to whether or not she could be trusted, but it seems as though that question has been resolved. While Mosley may not always be the most likable member of the team, she’s not a traitor to the country completely.
As Mosley does work on her mission, though, it doesn’t feel like she will be featured directly on NCIS: LA itself. Do we think that she’s gone forever? Probably not, since this is the sort of mission that probably does have an end date. Also, if she never comes back what was the purpose of the entire mission in the first place?
The unfortunate thing for NCIS: Los Angeles as a whole is that it really does seem like there’s been a whole revolving door of leadership as of late when it comes to the people at the office. First, there was the situation with Hetty, and it doesn’t appear as though she is coming back at some point in the immediate future. Then, there’s the situation now with Mosley. We’ve seen multiple other people around in order to help run things at the Los Angeles office but sometimes, there are too many cooks in the kitchen. This show is better with a little bit of a consistent voice and focus — at the moment, we’re just not getting that.
When could Hetty or Mosley come back?
At the moment, we feel confident that at least one of them will turn up by the end of the year … but that may just be wishful thinking on our part. We certainly think Hetty will be around for Deeks and Kensi’s wedding, whenever that is going to be.
