Station 19 season 2 episode 6 preview: ‘Last Day on Earth’

Station 19

Want to know some of what’s coming up now when it comes to Station 19 season 2 episode 6? This is one that could be largely about family. After all, the title for this episode is “Last Day on Earth” and that is enough to cause some immediate concern. Yet, it doesn’t seem on the surface that anyone is going to immediately die.

Below, CarterMatt has the Station 19 season 2 episode 6 synopsis with some other information when it comes to what lies ahead:

Just when Ryan agrees to talk it out with his dad, Greg Tanner makes an unexpected visit to Station 19, leaving Ryan and others confused. In an effort to connect with his crew, Captain Sullivan enlists the help of an unlikely source for some bonding tips.

At the moment, it definitely does feel like the primary selling point for Station 19 is having Dermot Mulroney around in the role of Ryan’s father. It’s a chance to explore that character’s roots and that’s something that we really do want for season 2 in general. Now that we know some of these characters on the surface, it feels like time in order to dive a little bit deeper and ensure that we get to understand them even more as people.

The further that we dive into this story, the more that we want this with every single character. That includes Captain Sullivan, especially if this is someone who is going to stick around for a while. If he’s just going to be the aggressive, at-times jerky boss, it’s going to be a little bit harder to get on board with some of his ideas. This is someone who does need a little bit more depth and we certainly hope that he has that over time. With Station 19 now having a full-season order of 22, there is definitely more of an opportunity to dive into this character than there was before.
