Traditionally, this is where things do start to get especially crazy in the game, and we’re certainly all about seeing precisely where this game goes now. One thing that is clear is that Angelina is ready and eager to take back the position of strategic mastermind. Her idea, as suggested in the preview, is a strong one: Target Christian. He’s the “heart of the David tribe,” and eliminating him now could cause people to scatter.
Unfortunately for Angelina, it feels like there’s one huge problem here: A lot of people love Christian, including people on her own tribe. John and Dan are both pretty close with him now; beyond that, the preview shows Alec going to him and making a secret alliance. With that, we gotta think that Angelina could be in danger, but so could really anyone.
Based on the course of the game so far, what we feel the most confident in is the idea of Nick, Christian, Mike, and Gabby being some of the most important players. They’ve all got a really close bond based on what we’ve seen so far, and they may try to use some other connections here and there (take people like Alison) in order to make some moves. If they can convince the Davids to stick together, them plus a couple of Goliaths could run things.
Yet, the game is so crazy now that almost anything could happen at any given moment. That is what makes, in part, merge episodes into such a good time.
